Jem Girls is the second opening theme for the Jem series. It was used in several episodes from the second season and all of the third season of the show. Unlike most of the songs by Jem and The Holograms, this theme was sung by Joelle Schroeck.

- "Jem Girls" was sung by Joelle Schroeck (now known as Joelle Dunn) and not Britta Phillips, like most of the songs by Jem and The Holograms.
- The sequence of the "Jem Girls" intro was modified from the original "Jem Theme"; most notably, The Misfits appearance was removed.
- This song was made as part of a revamping of the Jem franchise, being the lead theme for all the commercials of the toyline campaign that ran from 1988 to 1989. The idea was to change the "Truly Outrageous" tag for "Jem Girls" and "Glitter 'n Gold". However, the executives liked the theme so much that it was also used as the theme for the second opening.
- This theme was used in some local syndicated repeats of the first season.
- This theme song was also used for random episodes on the DVD sets Rhino released in season one.
- Despite starting in the second season, there are no clips of Raya in this opening.
- This opening was cut short by Kimber in The Day the Music Died.
