Aztec Enchantment is the ninth episode of the second season, and the 35th episode overall, of the Jem animated series.
Synopsis[]
Video (Vivien Montgomery) is filming Jem and The Hologram's new music video to enter the International Rock Festival (the only award she hasn't won). Jem has to keep the location secret as no two videos can be the same... guarantee The Misfits will cause trouble and try to stop Video from winning.
Plot[]
A prestigious film contest is coming up and Video is determined to win the competition. She brings Jem, The Holograms and Rio down to Mexico to film their newest video at a top secret location that is sure to give her the first prize.
Unfortunately, Clash knows about Video's secret filming location and brings The Misfits along to shoot her own video first. During the filming, The Holograms are led by a guide called Luis Geraldo, befriend a homeless boy named Paco, and meet a famous and cranky archaeologist, Dr. Balthazar, who has a secret.

- "Welcome To The Jungle" was first sung in Starbright (Part 3): Rising Star.
- This is the fifth time that Jem and The Holograms have been out of the country. The first was to Paris, France in Kimber's Rebellion, the second to Beijing, China in Adventure in China, the third time to Venice, Italy in In Stitches, the fourth to Morvania in The Princess and the Singer, and now to Mexico City, Mexico.
- The Holograms would visit Mexico a second time, in the episode The Day the Music Died, where Jem and Riot take a three day escapade to Mexican shores and are later joined by the rest of The Holograms and The Stingers while looking for them.
